Forum Laboris (job fair) 14-15 Sept. 2021
The Covid19 pandemic has been a tough experience for all of us. It has changed our communication habits and traditional contact building, socialising and networking.
In particular, Young Students have suffered a lot from the lock-down and from switching from real to virtual conferences. Some have spent a semester with their computer as “only companion”!
They have been isolated during an important phase of their life where they usually are supposed to build up solid personal networks, meet companies and labs to prepare their future career.
Considering this alarming situation, the Board of the EAA has decided to set up a new product, “Forum Laboris”, the Job fair of the European Acoustics Association.
The YAN (Young Acousticians Network of the EAA), has kindly accepted taking in charge the organisation of this forum with the support of the EAA Board and of the National Societies.
We hope that this initiative will help our young colleagues in building up the future of their careers. Moreover that this initiative will partly replace direct contact through organising multiple informal meetings for communication.

Acta Acustica
Acta Acustica (formely "Acta Acustica" then "Acta Acustica united with Acustica") is an open access journal which reports on original scientific research in all subjects in the field of acoustics and on engineering applications. The journal includes scientific papers, technical and applied papers, book reviews, short communications, doctoral thesis abstracts, etc. In irregular intervals special issues and review articles are published.
Since September 2019, Acta Acustica has changed its publisher and is now available at https://acta-acustica.edpsciences.org.

Acoustics in Practice
The journal audience is those practicing in the fields of acoustics, noise and vibration. Readers and contributors are expected to be practitioners: these include consultants, manufacturers, policy makers and regulators.

The European Acoustical Association (EAA) together with the Portuguese Acoustical Society (SPA) is pleased to invite you to the next Euronoise conference, to be held ONLINE on October 25-27, 2021
The other key dates are:
Abstract submission deadline: May, 1st, 2021
Abstract acceptance: May, 15th, 2021
Final paper submission deadline: July 15th, 2021
