		Best Wishes for 2021 from EAA board
		Assistance Sought for "A World of Sound" for Frontiers for Young Minds Collection   The deadline was January the 8th but you are invited to contact Frontiers for Young Minds to submit late contributions.
		The results of the EAA Student competition are available !   Manell Zakharia, president of EAA, also share his slides of Forum Acusticum 2020 opening ceremony containing figures for the virtual congress and pictures of the medal recipients for life-time achievements (Eddy Gerretsen & Murray Campbell) in acoustics and promotion of acoustics in Europe (HEAD-Genuit foundation).
		Latest Young Acousticians newsletters: December 2020 January 2021
		Young Acousticians (YAN) as well as less young acousticians are invited to collaborate to Schola, the online study guide to acoustics of the EAA currently managed by Malte Kob. Contact schola@dega-akustik.de to participate.
		The EAA past editor-in-chief Jean Kergormard has written a personal view on the transformations of EAA's Acta Acustica before retiring from editor in chief (leaving this duty to Manfred Kaltenbacher).   The latest volume of Acta Acustica is here: volume 5 (2021).
		Acoustics in Practice is always waiting to publish your contributions in the fieldof applied acoustics.
		A note from Etienne Parizet, chair of Forum Acusticum 2020 (FA2020 or e-FA2020) : e-FA2020 took place as an online version from December 7 to December 11, 2020. 700 oral presentations and 56 poster presentations have been proposed to the 1100 attendees. The general feeling of participants seem positive (as evaluated by a survey) : 75 % of the respondants relate a "large" or "high" interest of the conference, 85% evaluate the presentations as very or highly interesting. But the interaction with other participants was really not as good as in a real conference, which was also noted by participants.This show that people miss real events....we hope this will be possible soon !   Below are two pictures of e-FA2020 "head-quarters" :
