		A message from Manell Zakharia, president, on behalf of the new EAA board, elected during ICA 2019 in Aachen.
		As decided in Aachen, our Journal becomes Acta Acustica in January 2020. Along with its long tradition of innovation in publication and its mission of dissemination, the EAA is the first Acoustical Society to publish its journal in Full Open Access. The Editorial board is being transferred to our new journal. The submission website is now open: https://www.editorialmanager.com/aacus/default.aspx Already several papers are submitted. We are waiting for the best papers of EAA Authors. Acta Acustica United with Acustica, issue 5 of volume 105 is now available on Ingenta Connect : https://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/dav/aaua/2019/00000105/00000005

		2 new books from Voichita Bucur are published by Springer : Read content of Handbook of Materials for Wind Musical Instruments and a review by Neville H. Fletcher about Handbook of Materials for String Musical Instruments
		The opening ceremony of the International Year of Sound 2020 will be held on Friday, 31 January 2020. This event will take place at Le Grand Amphithéâtre, Sorbonne University, Paris. More information about the Year of Sound 2020 at http://sound2020.org
